Fosters Summer Campaign
Foster's did a whole lot of offer posters to supplement their film. We wrote the way we'd want a beer brand to talk to us, and rendered the type in ice ( After a ton of experimentation) to go with Foster's promise of daaaaamn cold beer.
We wanted posters that were simple enough to read and understand even if you were a bit tipsy. And for those who've gone past tipsy the icy font acts a reminder to always have your beer cold.
No one looks cool when they're drunk but when you're drunk you don't know that. Now add synchronised swimming to the mix and what do you get....something potentially un-filmable or maybe a clip for a YouTube epic fail compilation, but that was where the initial thought came from and evolved. Foster is always crisp and cold and delicious, so thats what we wanted to capture how that first gulp on a hot day can really make your imagination run wild.
This was some of the art we had visualised (obviously we assumed we had a bigger budget)
